HI!! Lucky you !! You own a Fairy Button!!! YAY!!
So here are some tips to keep them happy and healthy…
Fairy Buttons don’t love baths but know that sometimes they are necessary. If you want to safely bathe your Fairy Button, use a gentle, liquid soap, lukewarm water and a soft brush if needed and let them air dry. (placing them on a towel while air drying makes them feel as if they are at a spa..and blow dryers ..as if in a shiney convertible ) A good feather dusting or canned air party now and again will keep them clean and from needing many baths.
Fairy Buttons are made of Love, Laughter and polymer clay… Fairy dust too! The Fairy Dust or “glitter” (as mere mortals like to call it) is mixed into the clay and “baked on”. Bits of Fairy Dust might stay behind on your fingers or fall onto your clothing….
DON”T MOVE!!! Just kidding :)Fairy Dust is harmless unless of course you choose to eat it by the spoonful .. we here at Fairy Buttons discourage this (not good for proper digestive functioning).
Polymer Clay is many things...fun, colorful, fairly durable, however it is not EDIBLE!!!!
Please avoid putting any part of your new Fairy Button or Fairy Buttons mobile in your mouth
or the mouths of others.
PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!!! Puullleaze !!!! Keep Fairy Buttons away from very small children!!! Often small children find it fun and purposeful to put pretty much anything and everything in their mouths …. Fairy Buttons find it frightening and alarmingly dangerous to be placed in the mouths of even the cutest, most well intentioned small children.Fairy Buttons can be hung most anyplace with a strong hook and either ribbon or fishing line. We do not recommend hanging them outside without first coating them with several layers of weather resistant sealer. Although we do warn that harsh weather conditions may shorten your Fairy's life span . Light will not fade their colors or damage them in any way… hot sun will make them temporarily more flexible than usual but will not harm them.
