If they are Fairies, where are their wings? The legend is that Fairy Buttons are Wingless Fairies, a subspecies of traditional fairies and very special kind of fairy sent to earth from Deep Sleep Indigo to remind humans of many things but mostly to smile more and frown less, and to laugh out loud whenever possible (well, and when something is funny). Some believe they are baby fairies who are just developing their wings...but no one is completely sure and no one from Deep Sleep Indigo is talking. A couple of the celestial Fairies feature wings but we here at Fairy Buttons are not sure if they are the older wiser Fairies who have developed wings or if they know people in high places…

Are Custom Fairies available? Custom Fairies are available at the artist's discretion and take a wee bit longer and cost a wee bit more. We Happily accept idea suggestions and may run with them or not.. The idea for a fairy riding an alligator and carrying a martini was swept under the carpet and we do not make any Fairies that would get more than a G rating. Feel free to call for more information.

Where did the idea for Fairy Buttons come from? Although we have yet to get a straight answer from the artist, Fairy Buttons look suspiciously like the artist's Grandfather ..who would smile so big his eyes would disappear under his hat....What We do know is that Fairy Buttons have a special place in the artist's heart and she hopes they find one in yours too..
